New hands-on performance testing course
Rex Black and I have collaborated on a new course, the Performance Testing Immersion Workshop. Having attended performance testing courses before that only discussed theory, and barely even mentioned tools, I’m excited about this course. We have put together a package of open source and freeware performance test tools, all of which target the open source web application Mantis. During the course, students will learn solid performance testing concepts while using these tools to conduct real performance tests on a PC.
We’re exploring the possibility of a public offering of the course in the near future. In the meantime, you can bring the course into your company. Let me know if you’re interested.
